She was collected, concentrated, tense. The first decisions that were made at the head office of Intertop: to close the shops, to pay the salaries of all employees in advance so that they could leave with their families if necessary and, in fact, to help each other in moving to safe areas. Intertop also immediately joined the volunteer movement. All the employees, who had the ability and courage, went to the shops and gave out things for the territorial defense forces. First of all, there was a demand for high-tech jackets, gloves, boots, etc.
How did you organize further work? From the point of view of management, the team was constantly in touch, sometimes with interruptions, but we all found the opportunity to communicate regularly with both the management and the teams. A regular schedule was established a couple of days later ( after the invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine - ed. note ). Met twice a week to make sure all employees were safe. In general, the Covid-19 pandemic prepared the team for remote work and non-standard conditions. We immediately switched to unlimited services with shared access, files, corporate chat for quick resolution of issues. What was the main challenge in the early days? First, to secure people. Secondly, save the maximum amount of goods, transport them to a safe zone.
